1. Agreement
By creating an account or using topseat.lol (the "Service") you agree to these Terms, the Rules and the Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.
2. The Service
topseat.lol is a promotional showcase. A takeover purchases a time-unlimited but contestable advertising placement (the "spotlight"). Support is a voluntary payment that increases the price a challenger must pay. Nothing on the Service is a lottery, wager, investment or prize competition.
3. Accounts
You must be at least 18 and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; multiple accounts used to manipulate support or rankings may be suspended.
4. Listings and content
You may only list startups you own or are authorised to represent. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to display your name, logo, tagline, description and website preview on the Service and in share cards. You must not submit prohibited content as described in the Rules. We may reject, edit, suspend or remove listings at our discretion.
5. Payments
Prices are shown in USD. Payments are processed by Stripe under their terms. Placements and applied support are non-refundable except where the Refund Policy or applicable law provides otherwise. We may change the base price and minimum increment at any time; changes apply to future transactions.
6. Availability and changes
We may modify or discontinue features, including the spotlight mechanics, at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Hold time during an outage may not be counted.
7. Disclaimer and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and limit our aggregate liability to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not responsible for third-party websites shown in previews.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or the Rules. Provisions that by nature survive termination will survive.
